OUR PURPOSE: To provide a cross cultural short term mission experience for Christian mission groups, challenging them to grow spiritually by ministering to inner city familes with HANDS-ON love and compassion.
WHAT WE ARE ABOUT: Street Reach is a 501(c) (3) non-profit ministry located in an impoverished area of north Memphis, Tennessee. For the children and youth living in this community, drugs, gangs, crime, and violence are not just stories seen on the news...they are a way of life. Almost every family has been impacted by some type of abuse and the results can be seen everywhere.
WE BELIEVE: The Lord wants us to reclaim our community. God speaks to all Christians in Isaish 58:12, "And those from among you will rebuild the ruins; you will raise up the foundations; and you will be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of the streets in which to dwell." We believe the Lord has given us an opportunity to join Him.
WE ARE TO BE HIS ARMS, HANDS AND FEET ON MISSION TO SAVE A DYING AND LOST COMMUNITY!
