Leahys

Week one of Bible Club at Leahy’s was such a blessing! We were thrilled to welcome Crestwood Baptist as they helped us kick off the summer, and God moved in such powerful ways through their energy, joy, and love for the kids.

At Songs Station, they brought so much excitement—filling the air with praise and worship. Over at Games, the kids played pato, pato, ganso(duck, duck, goose), soccer, andWhat Time Is It, Mr. Wolf?—with lots of laughter and smiles. Crafts station was full of creativity as kids enjoyed painting and using their imaginations.

At Bible Story, the kids heard the truth of who Jesus is—our Savior, our friend, and our constant help. Seeds of faith were planted in many hearts.

The most powerful moment of the week? On Friday, one young boy decided to follow Jesus and accept Him as Lord and Savior. Praise God!

God is showing up and showing out at Leahy’s. We are grateful for His faithfulness and look forward to seeing what He continues to do in the weeks ahead. To Him be all the glory!

Whittier

“Ain’t no party like a Whit-Vegas party!” This week was a party as we kicked off the first week of Bible Club! We had the honor of having the South Community Church party with us all week, bringing the most fun! South Community has been visiting Street Reach for years and has formed special connections with the community over time. This week, we saw the fruit of the relationships they had formed with the community when a parent who had grown up attending Bible club brought their newborn baby to the Club specifically to introduce the baby to the church. At Bible Club Whittier, we had a high of 60 kids attend the Club. At bible club, the kids were engaged with the teaching and also got lots of fun prizes. At crafts, they made bracelets, firey furnaces out of paper plates, and so much more! The song station was filled with laughter and singing that could be heard from every corner of Bible Club, while the game station was filled with energy! On Friday, hard goodbyes were said, but the kids knew they were beyond loved by South Community. They also sent home unique toys with each kid, such as dolls and action figures, which filled the air with so much excitement! Thank you, South Community, for spending your week with us and loving our kids so very well!!

National

Happy Street Reach Summer 2025! Bible Club National hit it off big this week thanks to the Lord and His servants from South Community Church. The first week of every summer always comes with a heavy responsibility. Canvassing to find all the children within the community, presenting a positive first impression on new families, collecting address and phone numbers for future use, setting a standard of structure and fun for children to look forward to all summer long: all of these are extra important the first week of the summer, and that’s on top of sharing the gospel and loving like Christ! But let me tell you, South Community knocked it out of the park. LITERALLY! Out of Highland Park! From the gospel conversations on walking routes to the Bible Story POP Quizzes at Games and Crafts to the parents and siblings who attended Club with their child or younger sibling, the entire week was filled with the intentional pursuit of meaningful relationships. The time, effort, love, and energy invested by these missionaries was not only obvious to me, but the children could feel it as well. That’s why they came back day after day AND brought their friends! Ending the week with a high of 43 kids is a testament to the love of Christ those children could readily receive by simply showing to Bible Club National, and I cannot thank God enough for the incredible missionaries who so obediently made that possible. Have a blessed day, and we will update you next week! Hasta luego!

Pope

P-O-P-E, that is where we want to be! This week, Mt. Zion Baptist Church joined us at Bible Club, and they showed up and showed out! The fan-favorite Bible Story was “Three Men in the Fire,” and our team used a shadow box to present a puppet show. The kids were awe-struck at how cool the show was, and that’s all they talked about all week! Of course, the kids got to hear and dance to all their favorite songs, from Veggie Tales remix to the Power Shuffle. The games station was hit with the parachute - that is the kid’s FAVORITE thing to do! And we can’t forget the craft station! As simple as it was, the kids loved the coloring pages they got to do that went along with their favorite Bible Story, “Three Men in the Fire!” We absolutely loved having this team in town to kick off our first week at Pope, and we can’t wait for the next weeks to come! Thank you, Mt. Zion, for all your hard work this week, and God bless!

Jackson

What a great first week of Bible Club! Chunky Baptist kicked off the week with some fun games, crafts, songs, and bible stories. Our girls loved learning new dances like church clapping and could not wait to show off their new dance moves to other people at the Club. We had intense soccer matches with our boys and the team and a spontaneous tug-of-war that will go down in the history of Jackson. The kids had so much fun with their sticker crafts, coloring sheets, and especially the Jesus fish sand art that they were showing off to everyone. It was so amazing to see returning kids and the smiles on their faces, knowing that Bible Club is now in swing. Also, it was sweet to meet all the new faces and see their love and excitement grow for Bible Club. We are so excited to see what God has in store for this summer and cannot wait to see how His love will blossom here at bible club Jackson.
