Pope
P-O-P-E, that is where we want to be! Back for round two, Mt. Zion Baptist came to town, and it was nothing but fun all week! The kids were so happy to see their friends for a second time this summer, and the smiles on their faces were priceless. Music station was a favorite because of the tambourines - the kids had so much fun getting to dance and play along to the music! In games, they got to play all of their favorites, from “Duck, Duck, Goose,” to relay races, and of course, we can’t forget about the parachute! In the Bible story, the kids learned about Moses and his sister, Miriam, and how God used them both. Crafts was a blast this week as well, where the kids got to make salvation necklaces, and color - their two favorite crafts to do! This week was so much fun, and I know the kids and team had a great time. I can’t wait to see what God does at Pope next week!

Leahy’s
Praise God from whom all blessings flow! This week was truly a blessing! We hit our highest number of kids so far with 17 on Tuesday! Arbor Church loved every one of the kids that came to Leahy’s this week! We kicked off each club by singing and dancing together. At the Bible Story tree, the kids learned about young yet faithful Samuel, the courage of Queen Esther, and other stories that showed them that God could use them right where they are. Each game and craft intentionally tied in to the Bible story of the day. The kids enjoyed relays with sponges and ping pong balls, and a new twist on Simon Says. They got creative with “courage” key chains that they hung from bags, hats, and belt loops. Some silly ones tried to hang them from ears and even a nose! We are so thankful God keeps blessing Leahy’s with more children to minister to and missionaries to minister! Can’t wait to see what the next week holds!
Thank you!

National
Let's go National!!! Another amazing week of Bible Club in the books. The Met Church came in with so much love and energy and it was shown every opportunity they had as they reached out to the kids and the community. Even though we only had Bible Club at National for four days this week, their excitement and intentionality never wavered. Beginning the week with God's creation and ending with God calming the storm, our kids learned of His might and love. They made pinwheels and bracelets as reminders of His power and even got to participate in water relays at the game station to cool off from the heat. We had a high of 27 kids and, even though we didn't have Bible Club on Friday, we saw many more as we went out into the neighborhoods around National to hand out lunches. We are so thankful to The Met for coming here and we are so excited to see how God continues to move throughout this community and provide for our kids.
